How To Record Any YouTube Video in VLC

The VLC media player is a free open-source, portable, cross-platform media player. The VLC media player is versatile, robust, and safe software that plays most of every type of sound, video, and image file. VLC also accepts live videos from YouTube.

Follow the below Steps:

1) Choose Video from YouTube and copy video link which you want to Record in VLC.(e.g. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kd33UVZhnAA)

2) Open VLC media player go to menu Media->Open Network Stream or Ctrl+N

3) Open Media Dialog Box open paste YouTube URL(video which you want record) and Enter.


4) After Start video click on Red Button as display below image for start Recording video.

For stop recording click same Red button.

If you don't see the Red Button then go to View-> Advanced Controls checked.

After stop your recording your video automatically save to the following place.
